Has our attachment to technology–and our complete lack of manners–gotten so out of hand that we cannot take the time to stop texting/using our cell phones during yoga class? Well, after I read this article about a yoga teacher being fired from teaching yoga at the Facebook offices for telling a student to turn their cell phone off, I realized that, yes, things have gotten that bad. I wish the Jerky Boys were still around to give a real good prank wake-up call to the person who refused to turn their phone off in this woman’s yoga class. As a yoga teacher, I would be horrified if someone used their phone in my class. A little sweat can do a lot of damage to a cell phone. Just sayin’. By the way, turn your phone off, fruitcake!
